DRIP launched Friday the 16th of November at the pop-up location of 23 Princes St, with the release of a limited edition publication, designed and published by POINT Design. From the 17th - 23rd of November six artists had a single day each to engage with the Princes St location as part of the installation series for the week.

DIRT artistic director Kelly O'Shea described the project. "The 'action installation series' showcased new works drawn from each artist residency in 2017. The event condensed six artists and their creative takeovers into one short week, which encouraged audience participation by re-engaging in the ever changing environment."

The six artists were: Halszka Manash, Piupiu Maya Turei, Jordana Bragg, Debris Facility, Stef Animal and Rata Scott von Tippelskirch.

The origins of DRIP:
Between 8th May and 6th November 2017, a selection of six local and international artists took up a series of overlapping online residencies facilitated through the web-based, artist-run-initiative DIRT Gallery.  The DIRT RESIDENCY INNOVATION PROJECT '17 (DRIP '17)
