Dunedin Dream Brokerage is looking to employ a part time broker.

Are you passionate about showcasing the arts and uplifting community in Ōtepoti Dunedin? Do you see opportunities for urban revitalisation lurking in our city’s forgotten corners? 

Dunedin Dream Brokerage is looking to employ a part-time broker (16hrs per week).

The Dunedin Dream Brokerage brings life into empty urban and retail environments through brokering a lively programme of art project occupation. We welcome and support creative projects wishing to use vacant space in Ōtepoti Dunedin city. We support applications, negotiate with property owners and enjoy sharing our growing experience in successful audience engagement.

The broker will work with property owners, artists, individuals and community groups to facilitate the temporary use of vacant space with creative projects. They will advocate for and promote these projects, helping to lead to the revitalisation of Ōtepoti Dunedin in the eyes of the community, property and business worlds alike.

The broker will be a capable relationship builder across multiple sectors including business people, creatives, funders, local government, and local and national media. 

This is a paid part-time contract until the end of June 2026.
