Upcycles was a project that worked alongside the Urban Dream Brokerage to provide a vintage bicycle library in central Dunedin, combined with an upcycle concept store to showcase creative ideas for reusing often discarded items.

The public were able to take a vintage bicycle for a cruise through the streets on Dunedin for up to a day for free – all they  needed to do in return was produce a valid form of photo ID. People could also learn what upcycling is, how to get involved and see (and buy) some lovingly handcrafted upcycled items on show.
